NEC Solar Gives Back
At NEC Solar we feel fortunate to be able to bring renewable energy to homes and businesses across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We are committed to helping you gain energy independence and fight fossil fuel effects on our environment. With our success comes a responsibility to give back to our community.

Military and Veteran Suidice Prevention
Over the last few years passage of the Jacob Sexton Military Suicide Prevention Act, the Clay Hunt Suicide Prevention for American Veterans Act, and the Female Veterans Suicide Prevention Act have and, will go a long way in preventing military personnel and veteran suicide; however, more can still be done. American’s for Suicide Prevention urges Congress to continue to prioritize veteran and military personnel suicide prevention programs and services.</p> <p>If you’d like to help please select AFSP when submitting your request for a solar evaluation!
Boston Minstrels
Making Music with Heart — The volunteer singers and musicians of The Boston Minstrels create joy in places not normally associated with good times. The troupe appears and gathers in spaces at homeless shelters, prisons, and residential facilities. They come alive with popular music. Residents and Minstrels connect. Hearts rest. Spirits lift. GREEN NEEDHAM
Green Needham Collaborative is a volunteer organization dedicated to securing a better future through local action. We engage in concrete projects to create a more sustainable and economically healthy community — one which is committed to reducing carbon emissions and using resources wisely. As we build on our successes, we promote the development of new social norms which will drive this transformation to a sustainable community. We are committed to working collaboratively — providing support, making connections, and bringing together Needham residents, businesses, community groups, municipal government, schools, colleges, and houses of worship.
