Plugged-In Band Program

Music was such an important part of Artie's life growing up in Needham. He played tenor saxophone and flute in the High School Jazz band and a Big Band and Rock Band outside school. For many kids having a avenue for them to pursue music is a very important part of their social circle and development. There is a fantastic non-profit group in Needham called Plugged-In Band Program. This group gives kids and even adults the opportunity engage in not only, playing music in a series of concerts throughout the year, but also opened up their creative side in writing music and understanding the value of social activism and music.

Needham Community Council

The Needham Community Council is a private 501 (C)3 non-profit organization which supports people in Needham who have under-met health, educational or social needs and promotes volunteerism, community and a sense of shared responsibility.

NEEDHAM SCHOOL PTCs

To foster and maintain cooperation and understanding between parents, students, administration, and teachers. To provide a means whereby the parents can meet with representatives of the school to consider and act upon matters of common interest affecting the students and the school. To provide support and service to the administrative and teaching staff in planning and coordinating extra-curricular activities of the school.

NEW YEAR’S NEEDHAM

New Year's Needham - ``Where the New Year Begins!`` December 31, a day of celebration filled with Music, Comedy, Dance, Theatre and Magic. We are a local Non-Profit, made up entirely of volunteers, that exist purely by the generous donations of Needham residents and our very important local business supporters. NO FUNDS COME FROM THE TOWN!
